· Pastoral Support: Our pastoral team offers care and guidance to students to ensure their well-being, both emotionally and socially, alongside their academic progress. It focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment where students feel valued, understood, and able to reach their full potential. For those children that are struggling, we use the Boxall Profile assessment tool to assess specific areas of need and then put in bespoke intervention to support them.
Our pastoral team is supported by the HeadsUp charity that give 1:1 support to children, train mental health ambassadors and lead Forest School sessions aimed specifically at supporting children that are struggling emotionally in school. They are also supported by LED, who work with groups of children on understanding the link between physical activity and good mental health. As well as calming activities like yoga.
